Skipper top scored with 28, 3 catches and 3 wickets

Forest Row 1st XI sponsored by Flora Pro Activ, entertained Cuckfield 3rds on Saturday. Cuckfield won the toss and elected to bat. Captain Neil Divall and Paul Rowe took the new ball. Divall struck first, having Crampton (10) well caught by Farncombe at slip above his head. Rowe then had Pringle (0) caught by Divall also at slip. Gibson and Binks (13) put on 30 when Binks drove Britt to Divall at mid off. The pair combined again, more spectacularly – Divall pouching a hard chance – also at mid off. Murray Divall joined the fray with a brace, with Neil Divall and Paul Rowe returning to mop up the tail. Cuckfield all out for 123.
In reply, Jackson (5) and Sargent opened for Row, who struggled against the bowling of Candfield and Wood. Candfield broke through, bowling Jackson in the 17th over. Sargent started to find the boundary, when he was caught off Canfield for 21. Barnett (21) continued where he left off from last week. With the help of Neil Divall, the tempo was increased. However, when Divall fell for 28, Row proceeded to collapse, with only Britt (11) reaching double figures – in a most disappointing performance.

Cuckfield 123 (42.5) Gibson 43

Forest Row 115 (45.1) N. Divall 28 Barnett 21 Sargent 21,
