Forest Row, sponsored by flora pro activ, entertained Edenbridge in the 2nd round to the Wisdom cup. Edenbridge won the toss and elected to field. Wycherley (27) and Way (11) opened for Row against Fuller & Hill – who bowled through their allotted 8 overs each. Fuller bowled Way on 29, then had Barnett (1) caught behind in a tight opening spell. Holden removed Wycherley, as Row slowly gained momentum. Through N.Divall (21) and Woodward (26), reached a defendable total, thanks to some big hitting from Jackson (29*) and Paul Rowe.

In reply, Beaumont (11) was bowled by N.Divall on 22-1. Murphy joined Cox on 60-2 to add 80, when a double strike from Paul Rowe Dismissing Murphy (40) then Holtan (1). Farncombe bowled Cox for a fine 55 and Row were back in the hunt at 143.-5. Ward’s (29) big hitting enabled Edenbridge to get within touching distance. Hill’s drive for 4 won the tense encounter with 9 balls remaining.
