Forest row entertained the Sunday Barbarians in
a rearranged fixture. The Bars won the toss and batted. Showing
their intentions with the 1st ball smashed for 4 runs. N.Divall
gave Row a breakthrough, dismissing Tremlett (15). Williams (47)
joined Dyer, adding 85 when Divall had Willaims LBW. Sargent bowled
Mcloughlan with a low full toss. Divall’s lone efforts earned
him 3 more wickets, as runs flowed from the other end. Dyer breezed
past fifty – then past the ton, when the Bars declared after
Jackson had Hope (30) well caught by Paul Rowe. In reply, Row
got off to a steady start with Britt (16) and Phil Rowe(12). Soon
after, Row lost wickets at reglar intervals, bringing Jackson
and Paul Rowe together. They added 86, as Rowe found form and
fortune, in a seasons best of 43. Westmuckett joined Jackson,
smashing 4’s as Row drew. Jackson remaining 24* - extras
contributing 43.
